In a concerted effort to drag the blog even further down-market, I also felt like uploading one of my favourite film strap-lines that I came across while looking for the Yo La Tengo pic on my PC....
Wow - impressive! Never heard of it, but it is by a respected direcor, Mike Nichols (The Graduate, Carnal Knowledge, Catch 22, etc) and received 2 Oscar nominations. Though they were for Best Music and Best Sound....
I've seen it although the only thing I thought I remembered about it was that it was based on a novel by Arthur C Clarke. It wasn't. I checked on wikipedia. Must have been thinking of George C Scott I guess! There's a parlour game in there somewhere - Any advance on Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone by Jamiroquai?
